Le Black Dog is owned and run by Lisa, John and family. They have been in the area for over 23yrs so know their way around the local area. Just minutes from Lac de Guerledan, Nantes Brest Canal, Bon Repos, Salle des Forges and so many other tourist destinations. Le Black Dog is a quaint english style pub, run with a french twist (we live here after all) and with 5 comfortable bedrooms available, a relaxing pub with terrace attached together with excellent wines, beers and food.

Coming soon... SUN and then outside on our terrace

Enjoy a really relaxing evening with some friends. Eat on our terrace, play a game of boule on our laser flat court. On some evenings, listen to our 'chillout' music from our in-house DJ Marko. Smooth, relxing music to enjouy your cockatils, meals or a simple beer or glass of wine. They are going to be great fun. If you don't come, you'll never know.

New additions to our pub

In the summer season and to make your visit even more enjoyable - our 'beeper' food call system

Place your order for food and drink at the bar, pay in full and wait for your beeper to tell when your food is ready. Return to the bar to collect your meal and return our beeper. Its fun, and easy. We hope you enjoy their use. If you don't come you'll never know

Our newly extended Terrace

When the sun shines (it does sometimes in Brttany!) enjoy one our three terraces. Our newly extended main terrace with a subtle water feature, a boule court and varied table layout, one with a 'lounge style' set up, and our front terrace where you can, if you wish, simply watch the world go by.

Lots of varied tables and chairs for enjoying your meal also with sofa options for a more relaxed evening, what more aside from sunshine, could you ask for. Its a winner, however, if you don't come you'll never know!

Very nice place to eat Although it is also a pub, we were quiet in another part. This allows you to eat in peace but also to enjoy the music without it being annoying. Hamburgers like this and at this price, we rarely see them! Very good and very generous! Thank you to the staff also for being so welcoming and smiling! We will come back, that's for sure!

Fantastique auberge!! ???? L'endroit est idéal pour faire le tour du Lac de Guerlédan! Accueil très chaleureux, plats végétarien excellents! Le pub est ultra cosy!! Chambre propre, confortable et silencieuse. Nous reviendrons, c'est certain.

Nous avons organisé un repas pour une association locale : Tout était SUPER !! INCROYABLE!! Ambiance, accueil, sourires, disponibilité de chacun dans la Team Black Dog et que dire des burgers et des pizzas : Copieux, garnis et exquis!! L'apéritif était franchement incroyable aussi et que dire des délicieux pana cotta fruits rouges! Merci infiniment pour tout ?? car nous avons passé un très bon moment que dis-je un excellent moment! Je recommande à2000% le Black Dog!! Bravo àtoute l'équipe du Black Dog!!
